The reviewer of Burton's current show at MOMA is on your vibe…
Here's a nice antidote for Burton's CGI crapfest. Ian Holm's lovely reading of "Sitting on a Gate" from the 1998 ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS, with Kate Beckinsale as a surprisingly good Alice (lots of versions have cast the role with an adult woman, but this one has a frame depicting her reading the story to her daughter, then falling asleep and into it). This lovely version brings an unexpected and effective sense of melancholy to the nonsense.
