Fly, My Little Ebooks! Fly!

May I just stand in croggle-eyed amazement and point out that the 99-cent sale on The Rift is the best ever?
The sale was supposed to last one week, but it was extended into the second, and now the third, because the book just kept selling!
Shows you what might have happened twenty years ago, if the original publisher had been the least bit interested in selling it. Everybody could have made money, but now it’s just me.
Still, the sale will end one of these days, so if you don’t have a copy, you should probably get one now, at Kobo, iBooks, Amazon, Nook, Smashwords, and Google.
I really loved The Rift, and still own the paperback I bought all those years ago plus I’ve already bought the ebook. Glad to see it’s still going strong.
Like Susan, I have both the old paperback and the ebook. The Rift is a great read.
Still working my way through it, and glad that I read it the first time so long ago that I’ve forgotten the details.
It’s an excellent book that represents people and nature in a serious way and that will cause you to locate your gas cutoff and check your earthquake preparedness kit.
It’s also like a first-class pastry the size of your head, flaky and buttery, with nuts and custard, and after you’ve eaten the whole thing you can eat it again.
