You Are Herein Invited . . .

. . . to give me a damn literary award. Fuck yeah!
It’s the season for nominations for both the Hugo and Nebula awards. And I’ve been reading on other folks’ blogs where they’ve been listing their eligible works, just in case, y’know, their readers were confused or something.
Well the heck with that! What I’m going to assume is that you want to give me an award, because that’s what all right-thinking readers do. I’m just going to make it easy for you.
Fortunately it’s easier this year than most, because I only had two works published in 2012.
-
NOVEL: The Fourth Wall, Orbit Books, February 2012.
-
NOVELLA: “The Boolean Gate,” Subterranean, October 2012. (Which, as I’ve pointed out elsewhere, you can read for free right here: http://subterraneanpress.com/magazine/winter_2013
If you happen to be a member of LoneStarCon 3, this year’s Worldcon, you can nominate me for a Hugo Award by clicking this link. http://www.lonestarcon3.org/hugo-awards/
And if you’re not a member of the Worldcon, you can join, right? Because, like all right-thinking people, you really want me to have that award.
I’ve never won a Hugo, and it would be awesome if I finally did. Because, as I’m sure you’ll agree, I totally deserve it.
Nominating me for the Nebula is a little trickier, because you have to be a member of the Science Fiction Writers of America. But what the heck—- if you’re not a member, you can hack the computer of someone who is and steal his password!
(Yes! I assume you’re that dedicated a reader! Because my readers are awesome!)
Anyway, Nebula nominations may be delivered here.

Carry on, friends! I have every confidence that we will succeed!
