Daniel’s Latest

I thought I’d bring to your attention the fact that my friend Daniel Abraham’s latest fantasy, The King’s Blood, is now available wherever fine books are sold.
This is the second book of Daniel’s excellent Dagger and Coin series, and continues the series’ tradition of luring you onto what seems to be familiar fantasy terrain, then drawing aside the curtain to show you that you’ve been in some freaking unexpected weird place all along.
After you’ve finished buying all my stuff, you should definitely buy this.
Tragically unavailable in Australia via Amazon’s Kindle store. Clearly I’ve been spoiled by all of your books being available.
Really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, for some reason I thought this series was to be a duology when in fact it’s apparently to be at least a quintet, and since I no longer start such series until the final book is out it seems it’s going to be waiting on my shelf for a while.
I’ve had this on pre-order via B&N, and up through yesterday evening the webstore was still claiming it was for 5/22. I’ll have to see if my Nook downloaded it last night, after I get done with City on Fire.
Excellent news! I quite enjoyed the first one. Lots of impressive world-building and interesting characters (I want to go drinking with Yardem).
