A Little Less Vacation Now, Please . . .
by wjw on November 22, 2011
Despite at least four visits by Comcast’s highly-trained technicians, the Internet connection remains mostly down. I can get email (over time), and respond to it (over time), but anything more serious than that is pretty much impossible.
I’m growing a little bored with my vacation.
This afternoon I went to the local library to grab some wireless and upload some things that needed uploading. Unfortunately the library, too, employs Comcast, and Comcast was down.
I suspect the problem is not confined to my street. Possibly there is a hemorrhagic fever-like virus raging through the bowels of Comcast. Or not.
Or I’m just cursed. Whatever.
I am sorry for the trouble. I can reach out to my contacts to have the problem looked into. You can contact me, provide your info and a link to this page so that I can assist further.
Thanks!

ComcastMark, as Mr. Williams is a famous author with armies of evil stalkers following his every movement to get a hint about his next book, I don’t think publishing anything more than a public email address or a throw away cell phone would be a good idea.

Just like you called it, real time. Thanks for sharing.
Perhaps it’s a plague that has infected buried cables. My Charter connection has been out an in as well.
