I would say that you’ve got as much red as you need. Using red as an accent only works when it’s dark. Bright red is good for a wall covering, but not for large areas.
In my old house, I painted the powder-room a reddish-orange. It looked fine in the dining room…but in that small space, the orange was so overwhelming that when you left the room after crapping, everything looked blue.
Bruce, that isn’t even the right clutter. Our regular clutter got shoved aside or put in boxes, and has yet to be completely redistributed.
This is just temporary clutter, and will be replaced by normal clutter in the course of time.
Oz, a bigger kitchen has been a fantasy for a long time now. But our kitchen is at least fairly well organized. Everything’s within a couple of steps of everything else. (Which is a way of saying it’s small, of course.)
Wow! Your stovetop is even more cluttered than mine!
(Huh? Oh, the paint job looks fine.)
Very smart looking; worth all the coats. Looks like you need to knock out a wall and make a bigger kitchen.

I am grateful for the pictures. And I now have a sense of Walter in his element.
Ha! I have those exact same cupboards. But not a gas stove, oh, envy you that heavenly stove.
