I seem to be in the middle of another Luck Storm. Unfortunately— so far— the luck is not good.
My office computer died rather suddenly. Though I thought I had been diligent in backing up everything, I find I’ve lost all my email from 1 January to 6 December, 2006.
I wonder what I said?
I wonder what you said?
If it was anything important, feel free to remind me.
I call that the Black Cloud of Computer Malfunction. I hope it passes soon.
Dang, dang, dang Double Dang!
Surely with the New Congress working 5 days a week this luck storm shall roll away.
Love, C.
I’m not sure whether the Congressional mandate includes fixing my computer, but I can always hope.

Walter, I offer my sympathy for your loss – that luck storm of yours must have been more widespread than you suspected, as my own computer just coughed up and died last week as well, at the ripe age of five.
